THE BOOK OF JOB
1: Once, there lived a very good man named Job who had strong faith in God.
2: He was blessed in both property and children.
3: One day, a demon said to the LORD:
4: No matter how good a man he may be, if he's struck by misfortune, even he will lose his faith.
5: Go on, test him if you wish.
6: Eeee hee hee! Suffer, and curse your God!
7: Soon, Job's children died one after another. His livestock was stolen, and his house was burned down.
8: Job's body was afflicted by a horrible skin disease, and the itchiness and pain drove him nearly to madness.
*Job 1 ~ 4, 42
1: How could all this happen to you? Did you commit a sin?
2: Never! O LORD, why do I suffer so?
3: Job! Thank you for asking me such an honest question. Even after falling into an abyss of misfortune, you never stopped believing in me.
4: I will now bless you,
5: with great health and property.
7: Friends of Job! Offer up all your things to him as an apology for accosting him with such a mistaken idea! You have no right to analyze the decisions of the LORD!
8: Yes, LORD!
9: And so, Job once more became a rich man, and lived for 104 more years in happiness.
10: Why me? Err... nevermind!
